Concord is the largest city in Contra Costa County, on the San Francisco East Bay. It is a larger medium-sized city with a population of about 130,000 people and 23 constituent neighborhoods.

Housing costs in Concord are among some of the highest in the nation, although real estate prices here don't compare to real estate prices in the most expensive communities in California.

Unlike some cities, Concord is diverse in ethnicity and employment with a mix of white-collar and blue-collar jobs. Overall, Concord is a city of sales and office workers, service providers, and professionals.

Also of interest is that Concord has more people living here who work in computers and math than 95% of the places in the US.
